“It’s been a couple of weeks since I switched from the Nordic Track to treadmill-less intervals, and I have to say that I am already seeing results!”
July 7th ClubFYM Forums:
“I finally worked up the courage to ditch my Nordic Track (which I have used for the past ten years!) and tried the treadmill-less intervals today.
Man, I had no idea what I was missing! I think I was in high school the last time I did jumping jacks and butt kickers! I can definitely feel parts of me I had forgotten I had, and I feel as if I have kicked things up to a new level.
Thank you, Holly, for getting me out of my rut and showing me there is a much better way to reshape myself!“
UPDATE – July 20th ClubFYM Forums:
Victoria is experiencing the Body Reshaping Results of Treadmill-Less Intervals!
“There are spots that used to jiggle no matter what I did (especially in my posterior region), and now there is almost no jiggle at all after two weeks with the treadmill-less intervals! Wow.
And my legs, which looked dumpy, are beginning to get definition, and I no longer feel so self-conscious about wearing skirts. My husband even said I look nice in some shorts I bought the other day (and he is a very blunt person)!
Thank you, Holly, for challenging me to turn it up a notch and let go of old stuff that wasn’t working anymore.
I thought I was never going to make anymore progress, but things are a lot better now that I am using those new intervals (well, new for me).
Woohoo!”

Thanks for the Treadmill-less exercise ideas Holly! I am following Craig’s Turbulence Training but still use the treadmill to do my intervals. Your exercises here are a good option! I can even do it outside the gym!
You rock with that jumping rope skills you have!
Holly, I love it! Just yesturday I was saying to my husband how I hate just running on an eliptical. I can’t wait to try some of these out today. It was so great yesturday to jog with my dog. I did 6 intervals and was blowen away that I was only gone for 20 minutes and had that kind of burn. Your a smart lady and really no mom can say they can’t do this.
I am free from the need to create security in my life by always owning a large piece of workout equipment! Whether a Nordic Track, treadmill, elliptical, whatever! I have already given our current elliptical away and am looking forward to the freed up space! The workouts I have been doing with body weight and my speed rope have been far more challenging than even doing intervals on the equipment!
I am free! AND getting better results!
Love those intervals! I do some of them already, but you showed a lot of new ones too.! Great video, Rosa;ie
Hey Holly,
I have been doing sprint intervals for quite awhile. Besides being sooooooo boring and making my knees hurt, I wasn’t getting the results I wanted.
After I saw your intervals without the treadmill I started them the next day. They were so great! I felt like my whole body had been worked out and not just my legs. Also, time seems to go by so much faster. The variety is great. I change it up every workout by putting the moves in different order. My son has even started doing it with me to get ready for football. He has a hard time keeping up with me!
I feel so strong and everytime I step on the scale or get out my measuring tape I have lost lost lost!!! It’s working. Thanks so much!
I have been off my treadmill now for about 2 weeks and I have seen really good results as well! I have actually lost some more weight (under 140 lbs. for the first time in a very long time), my clothes feel looser, and I just feel smaller! I’m ready to get rid of my treadmill altogether! Body weight intervals work!
WOW…these are ALL fabulous Results!!!
Thank you for sharing – hope the message will catch on for all the frustrated women out there who are stuck doing the wrong type of cardio.
thanks to you Holly, I have purchased and wear regularly, a sun dress!!! My legs look nicer!I still have a way to go, but I feel so positive!!
Hi Holly
Thanks for the great interval ideas, I was already doing some of these but I am very grateful for some new ideas. I always struggle with timing my intervals, ideally I would like to do 1 min and 30 second rest but really struggle to time it, what is the best way,, any ideas?

The first time I tried jumping jacks I ached for 4 days. But the feeling was undescribable! I now do it at least twice a week and I fell my slightly flabby getting firmer and thinner. Just 1 question though, is it better to stick to 1 particular interval eg, burpee only or we can just do a varied combination of them within 1 session? THanks a lot!
Hi Holly! I love the idea of fit yummy mummy but have just found out I am pregnant – I know that high intensity workouts are not recommended for pregnant women, but is there a modified workout you suggest for those of us who are expecting???
Hi Holly,
I’ve been reading your tips and watching your exercise videos for the past months and i believe they are all effective so i’ll do my best to try most of them and report to you the impact on my fat loss efforts. Thanks !

Hi Holly,
I just started your workout last Monday and when I woke up this morning I felt thin and very toned. I decided to jump on the scale out of curiosity. I’ve lost 2.5 pounds. Wow! I’ve been trying for months to lose the last of my baby weight and haven’t been able to…this is great! I can’t wait to see what I look like after 16 weeks.

Congrats Alicia!
As long as you have your Drs okay – you will be just fine with moderate cardio but place an emphasis on full body resistance training and of course eating supportively. You can have the most fit pregnancy without all the focus being on cardio.
Hey these are great ideas!! I never even thought about some of these. I already am doing treadmill-less intervals, but replaced them with running on a track. Great ways to switch it up!
