Spring is here which means more outdoor fun is in store for you! It’s just about time to clear the closet of those heavy, winter clothes!
How will you feel about your body in the new, more revealing spring fashions?
This is your opportunity to establish a true metabolism boosting, fat burning, full body toning workout plan.
We all deserve to look our very best as we anticiapte the arrival of warmer weather. But this waiting game does not have to be spent in fear….fear of wearing shorts again or trying to slip into a summer tank.
That is why I am sharing a favorite Fit Yummy Mummy boot camp workout – one of the fat blasting workouts I have had the pleasure of teaching to the Fit Yummy Mummy’s when I lived Elizabethtown, KY.
This is a Full Body Resistance Training workout designed to give you the benefit of trimming and toning those trouble areas as well as pumping up your energy levels. Be sure you also follow a supportive nutrition plan to double your results.
Complete each super set 3 times in a row with little to no rest before moving on to the next super set: A1, A2, A1, A2. A1, A2 rest, then move on to do the same with super set B and super set C.
A1: Deadlift Squat Combo
Perform a Romanian dead lift and followed by a DB Squat
Reps: 10-15
Weight: 10-15-20-25-30
A2: Stability Ball Knee Drive
Begin in push up position against wall, stability ball firmly between wall and core.
Drive one knee quickly up into ball while maintaining solid push up position, contracting your abs as you raise your knee.
Repeat 10-15 times each leg.
You can choose to use one leg at a time or alternate.
Rest 30-60 seconds

In push up position walk hand nearest to step up onto step, next hand will cross over, first hand will walk down to the floor, followed by next hand so you return to push up position on opposite side of step.

Clasp hand behind head, elbows pointed out and step forward or backward into lunge.
Repeat 6-10 times each leg – alternate legs.
C2: V-Up – One leg or Both
Lie flat on floor, lift upper body and lower body up at the same time to create a V. lowly return to floor with arms stretched overhead. Perform lifting one leg at a time or both legs.
Repeat 10-15 times
You Did It!
Immediately follow each workout with short burst intervals (no longer than 15 minutes) to help maximize your results.
While no single workout plan is THE answer – this one will be sure to kick start your way to a leaner body by summer.
Perform this workout every other day (do not perform resistance training on back to back days – a day of rest is essential to your ability to see results).
Be sure to change your workout up every 3-4 weeks to prevent hitting a plateau.
For more fat burning workouts, be sure to check out the Fit Yummy Mummy Lifestyle System.
Have fun getting your body ready for Spring and Summer and feel confident as you sport the latest warm weather fashions!

Hi Holley:
It’s me again trying to win the DVD’s. Nothing has change since the other day when I tried. Looking for a great work-out routine and losing a couple of pounds and to get tone and learn a healthly way of eating. Here’s to picking my name this round.
Dorothy
It’s me trying to win again, too. Goals are the same …trying to loose that last 10 pounds so I can wear the clothes in my closet!
another question, though………should you eat (like a protein drink) before working out or work out on an empty stomach?
Thanks Holly.
Congratulations to all the winners! Holly’s DVD’s are awesome – a very good addition to your workouts.
Ok – i’m going to try to win again too! My goal is to lose 5-10 lbs but I need to wait to start for a few weeks as I heal from foot surgery.
Thanks for giving us this workout! I forwarded this link to one of my friends.
Congrats lucky ladies.
Need to loose the last 5 kg… when I started with your tips, I needed to loose 3…. my fatpercentage plummeted but my weight went up…. muscles I guess/ hope… help?
thanx for ur kind support on encouraging and helping me through visuals
Hi Holly…
Are we supposed to leave the comments here or on your last blog post? Anyway, here’s my comment:
Hey Holly!
My goal is to lose 15kg by the end of August. My son was born a year ago and not only have I not shed the extra pounds, but I think I may have gained a couple too. Yikes! These next 12 months will be different, I want to get a body even better than my pre-pregnancy body.
My question is: how to combat emotional eating. I tend to eat sugary foods when I’m angry or sometimes bored – or at least I *want* to even if it isn’t in the house. Looking forward to the tips!
I’m not sure if we are supposed to enter again but here goes!
My goal is to stay in the best shape possible for the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy.
My questions have to do with what modifications should be made for the third trimester of pregnancy.
Also, how to get the best results on a low protein diet because of kidney issues.
Thanks Holly, you’re the best!
Hi Holly,
Finally I have the opportunity to thank you for all your beautiful fitness ideas. I have integrated them into my martial art training for adults and my students love the super sets. They feel so great and keep coming regularly. Thanks very much.
I am trying to win the DVDs again, too. I want to win so badly as I can’t afford to purchase them
.
I need to lose the last 10 lbs of baby weight. I’m going to try the new workout posted above, however, I do not have the stretchy band. Can this be modified for dumbbells?
I have to fit in my pre-pregnancy clothes this spring and summer and I’m motivated to get moving.
Claudia
Hey hooly,
. my goal is to kick of the belly fats and the love hundels once and for all. once again thanks for sharing the best workouts.
its mu again second round trying to win. i tried the spring break boot comp eercises just few minutes ago at the gim. i love it. specially the push ups OMG it really make sense. Thanks for making it clear to reach to my Goal. I just started today. if i am lucky enough i might win in the second round
regards,
Mu
Enter me to enter a chance to win again too!
Would love some dvd’s to give me guidance and lose 20 pounds – mainly around the mid section. I am tired of having no shape. My numbers are practically the same for bust, waist and hips – ugh! The youngest of my 4 kids just turned 5 so I can’t blame their pregnancies and deliveries anymore.
Hi Holly, I actually don’t know how much I need to loose, as I haven’t weighed myself since I started looking overweight! However, I do know how I want to look and feel, though! I need to loose the excess abdominal fat gained during my intense nursing school experience…when I do yoga, the fat gets in my way! I was/am a serious dancer, (except during the aforementioned nursing school) and I would love to get back into good enough shape to be able to dance in San Francisco’s “Carnival” parade at the end of May, WITHOUT being ashamed of my body. Also, of course, my movement ability improves without the hindrance of extra body weight. I have been working out and following your nutritional advice since January, just need to intensify it, to be ready for summer clothing, again, without being ashamed of my body! I love receiving your exercise videos, I incorporate a lot of your ideas……
**But , today, my question is what to do when I have injured my upper L pec muscle- with probably too many pushups and planks, probably poorly executed? I rested for one day, but am still in pain today– but still want to continue my program. Should I just do everything except the pushing movements, and not use my left arm much? (would that create imbalance?) HELP!
thanks for everything, Terra
Hi Holly~ I would LOVE to win your DVD’s……..
1. What is your Spring Fat Loss Goal, what results are you after? I am eating more and more fruits and veggies however I am not up to 10 servings every single day. My goal is to really focus on this. I also want to continue to focus on healthy eating on the weekends. I do great when I am on my very schedules routine during the week. When we are on the run and off schedule with our kids all weekend; that is the most difficult time to stay on target with healthy eating.
2. What do you need help with, what questions do you have? I have been working so hard to refine my eating habits and I’ve made great gains however, I continue to struggle with cravings for chocolate. I REALLY carve some every day. I tried giving it up. The cravings were still strong even after a few weeks. I went back to indulging every sparingly but still crave chocolate. What can I do??
Thanks for all you do to keep us motivated!
Tammy
Hey Holly it’s Kate here again….My question is if I do a 3.5k walk/run hilly terrain is it wise to back it up with one of your resistance video’s ie: Abs??? I did this this morning & feel amazing.
Just did the spring boot camp workout!!
Awesome!!
Love mixing it up every 4 weeks!! Keeps me motivated and prevents boredom!!
Is it ok to exchange mountain climbers for the SB ball knee drive? Is that the same type of exercise?
Have a great Easter weekend!!
Lisa
I am so lucky, I was so shocked when I saw Tyler’ s hand holding my comment and Holly saying my name.I hope I can reach my goal this spring.
Good luck to all the yummy Mummies .
Thanks Holly
Leila
Great moves, Holly! Thanks for always kicking it up. Can’t wait to try these!
Congrats to all the winners of the DVD’s! You’ll love them!
Holly, I have set a goal to lose 10 lbs by June. I started the NYTC with that in mind, and I am not sure how close I am but I know I have a little ways to go. Thanks for your program and all your help and getting my mindset to eat clean and be healthy!
Hey Holly-
My spring weight loss goal is to start using your program on a regular basis. I purchased the advanced program a couple months ago and use it along with other workouts, but I just can’t seem to loose a single pound! My goal is to lose 7 or more and I am just stuck.
Niki
Just hoping to see the inches drop off. I find it so hard to motivate myself and could use the DVD’s to help. It is so close to summer that I need to get going soon or anthother summer will be gone.
Hi Holly,
I am over 40 and really would like to know the best way to get off the pounds that have been plaguing me for so long. As I have gotten older, it is increasingly hard to get them off. Thank you so much.
You’ve blessed me so much already, Holly! Just want to say, I love you and all you do! Love, Sally : )
Hi Holly,
