‘If someone had told me a few years ago that I could get in an effective, fat-burning workout in just 20 min. a day, I would have thought they were crazy!

But that was back when I was working out like a fiend, for an hour and a half in the gym at least 4-5 times a week, I had one child, I was in my late 20′s, and had a little more energy……

Fast forward about 8 years later.

I’m 37, have an active 15 year old, very active 2 year old (ahhh, those terrible two’s!!) and an 8-1/2 month old (I had 2 babies and 2 c-sections just 19 months apart).

I’m out of shape and 75 lbs. overweight…

I have NO extra time at all–especially to go to the gym. I’m suffering from selenium poisoning, my body aches, my hair is falling out by the second (literally). I feel horrible. And I’m afraid I am just doomed to be fat forever….my mother was overweight, her mom was overweight, etc., etc.

I start wondering if it’s maybe in the genes…

And then I found Fit Yummy Mummy in June 2008. It really was a chance encounter, so I know I was divinely led here (there truly are no coincidences)! I consider Fit Yummy Mummy a gift from God. Really. Because it has been an answer to my desperate prayers…

My Goals

I want to be around for my children. I want to feel better–I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired! I want my husband and children to be proud of me. I WANT TO BE PROUD OF ME!!! I truly believe that I can and WILL achieve all of this through the Fit Yummy Mummy program.

Sure enough, week by week, the inches started falling off~

That is so true….your workout is your best friend, because it is the catalyst to get you to where you want/need to be health wise (along w/proper nutrition, of course). But you can’t do one w/out the other! I feel so strong and empowered while working out, but especially afterward. I feel like I’ve really accomplished something and feel so good about myself….that I’m actually making myself a priority as well as how awesome I feel physically. Even though the Summer Transformation Challenge is now over for me, my RESOLVE is still going strong!!

I’m not where I’d like to be yet, but I’m on my way!

That is the key….to always be changing for the better.   I haven’t felt this good about myself in quite some time.  I can echo the words of Kathleen in this…that I’m definitely changing from the inside out.

    Wow! You look fantastic. It looks like you lost much more than 7lbs too. You must be doing weights too! (I haven’t bought the Fit Yummy Mummy book yet). Keep up the great work! I know you WILL reach your goal. I eat every 2-3 hours too and it makes a huge difference.
