There is a way to have stress free mornings – for you and your family.

I’m not positive what my mornings will look like just yet but I need them to be as smooth and stress free as possible as I’m starting a new full-time job outside of the house early in the morning. One child will come with me but the other one (totally not a morning person) will need to get up when we get up and ready for school so she can walk with her friends. It’s going to be quite a change but I want to establish a very consistant routine so that if anything interrupts it, it won’t be earth-shattering.
The one thing I know that will have to happen for sure, is that things will need to be ready the night before.
secret to a good morning is planning the night before!!
My morning routine starts in the afternoon where I set out the kids clothes and check we have all we need for lunches etc the next day.
It also works best if I have a decent bed time hour..
if not going to work my morning routine is brekky, clean up, get dressed, a walk with the kids, morning tea and then go on to any other chores or playtime with the kids (mine are not at school yet).
But definitely preplanning or your day starts without you!!
We have backpacks organized and ready at the door the night before and both kids check the weather and then put their clothes out at night for the next day. We all have our times when we get into the bathroom in the morning, too. It makes for a nice steady flow when we get up and it’s easy to get out the door.
