Immediate Social Interaction and Support
No matter what social networking method you choose – Being connected is a MUST when it comes to having fat loss accountability, and nowadays it is super EASY to establish!
One of the things that makes the Fit Yummy Mummy online community so unique and powerful is the ability to connect with like minded women – to share in a common experience and help motivate and support one another. This in turn leads to great results and results that are true and lasting!
As I share with the ladies, there is no reason why you must go through your fat loss transformation alone. Connecting online helps helps hold you accountable, feel connected and stay motivated…anytime you need it.
I have explored a variety of social networking methods and have personally found Facebook and Twitter to be the most effective. If I had to choose between the two though…I am all about Facebook!
Facebook
Not only has Facebook allowed me to reconnect with old friends and keep my family up to date on what’s going on with me ~ I have been able to share more of my life with the those I work with online.
You see the secret to the success of Fit Yummy Mummy….is not so much about the amazing 15 minute at home workouts…..no – the success lies in the Relationships I have formed with these Fit Yummy Mummy’s!
Here at Facebook I can connect with the women I work with on a different level as well as those who are not too sure about who I am or what I have to say have an opportunity to make decision with the complete picture at hand.
In fact some of the posts I make on Facebook ignite some interesting discussions – some help clarify points that I make and some invite new questions and insights.
For ex – I posted “Wondering why it is so hard for women to embrace that the answer to fat loss does not lie in cardio.” and this thought alone elicited fabulous 36 comments.
No need for me to TELL you about it….just go see for yourself:
What is it? Twitter is an online service that enables you to broadcast short messages to your friends or “followers.” It also lets you specify which Twitter users you want to follow so you can read their messages in one place.
All Twitter messages are limited to 140 characters. Makes every word you type to the point and meaningful.
While this can be a fun way to “Chat” online I feel it is a bit too limited in that you only get a small glimpse of the person you chat with vs. Facebook that allows you to have a complete overview of the person you have connected to.
I do use twitter for quick updates and when I have something newsworthy to share. Many Fit Yummy Mummy’s who follow me on Twitter use the updates they receive as reminders to either read a blog post or log in to ClubFYM to download their workout of the month.
Who is in your circle of friends for fat loss accountability? Do you feel energized, inspired, motivated, uplifted, understood?????
If you are currently active on either of these social networking sites, be sure to look me up! Only good can come to you when you choose to surround yourself with and connect with those who support your goals and lift you up so you feel confident about the direction you are headed!

I just joined facebook last week and have already connected with tons of old high school friends! I’m excited to add you to my friends and show other moms my age what they can achieve with your program!
I am already friends with Holly in FB even before she made this. I’m so glad. ^^
I too have found Facebook to be a wonderful way to stay connected to my many communities. I resisted for a long time, but joined when ClubFYM switched to its new site and I am SO glad! I’ve been weaving threads back into my life that had been lost over the years and really appreciating the easy way we can touch each other’s lives.
I love Facebook too! I’ve reconnected with people who I haven’t heard from or seen in years!!! It’s been fun! Plus, I love reading about what all my buddies are doing in their day to day lives!
I love facebook. Don’t always have the time – too busy journaling and meal planning
oh, and working! But, I love FB!
Facebook is my fave!
I’m so thankful for Facebook as it has allowed me to connect and to reconnect with so many people. I love being able to be part of ClubFYM though too.
I’m still hovering outside, trying to decide whether to join in or not. What about stalkers or wierdos? I don’t have old friends to look up and I don’t want family derailing my new habits. So, I’ll check it out but for now I love the FYM forums.
