“Wow, I am humbled and moved by all of the previous responses. What an articulate, smart and inspiring group of women this is.
Here’s what I know: the idea of doing the upcoming challenge scares me. A lot. When I think about taking the photos, posting my information, and committing to goals in front of you all, it makes me really nervous. That’s probably because I have failed so many times before – Atkins, Weight Watchers, you name it. Do I really want to fail again, and this time so publicly?
I’m now 5?4? and almost 160 pounds. Boy, it’s tough to type that out.
Here’s something else I know: I don’t want my two beautiful girls to experience weight issues like I have. I would love to get this problem under control and be able to integrate healthy habits into my life so that they can then learn from me and have the skills to avoid these struggles.
And one other thing, I’m tired of hating the way I look. Inside, I feel like the adorable, funny, vibrant woman I’ve always been…and then I catch my reflection in a mirror, and I think to myself, “who is that? why did she let this happen to herself?”
As far as goals go, losing weight and inches would be great, don’t get me wrong. But what I really would like to gain is a sense of control, that is, knowing that what I’m doing and what I’m putting into my body is taking me in the right direction. OK, maybe self awareness AND skinny jeans – is that too much to ask?
So, yes, the idea of the transformation challenge is terrifying. But I think that might be just what I need.”

“Dear Holly,
I was a chubby kid, a “curvy” teenager, a plump twenty-something and now, with 4 months to go until my 30th birthday, I am, quite simply, fat.
My weight has relentlessly lumbered on up the scales over the years due to my habitual comfort eating and with the milestone birthday coming up in December I really feel that it is now or never for me.
What I do know is that what I have tried before hasn’t worked, so clearly it is time for me to try something completely different:
- I love the idea of a supportive community of women looking out for each other every step of the way.
- I love the idea of not being a time-slave to my workout routine.
- Most of all I love the idea of being slim, fit, sexy and confident for the first time in my life.
If I am given the opportunity to have the 6 months of guidance and support I will grab it with both hands and hold on for dear life!
Thank you for offering this great opportunity Holly. I am sure any one of us ladies who have submitted an entry would do you proud. “

“I feel like I have lived underground my whole life and just emerged into the sun! Weight has been an issue for me my entire life (since I was about six).
I am tired of being fat and tired. While I enjoyed some success during the STC, I was just leaning the ropes and working through all the lies and excuses I have told myself and others for years.
My new motto is- Excuses are for those who don’t want to experience change.
This upcoming challenge is essential to me for two reasons. Number one- I do not do well going it alone. I tend to quit and or slough off. Number two-I now have the tools to really hit this thing full force.
Life is too beautiful to experience in a fat, unhealthy, body. Bring on Aug. 3rd!”

What does it mean to you to be a part of a Transformation Challenge?
The “Get Back To Fit” Fall Challenge will be my fifth challenge and I can’t imagine not having these challenges available to me at this point in my journey.
To be a part of a Transformation Challenge means many things to me:
1. Receiving support – you get during the challenge from fellow challenge participants, other fymer’s and from Holly is unbelievable. Everyone is there for you in every way. You can’t find a better cheering section anywhere else. Not only are they there to help you out of your “oops” moments but also there for you during your successful moments. Thank you so much.
2. Giving support – I may feel like I’m just receiving support but I also know that I’m capable of supporting of others in some unique way and I really enjoy doing that. It may just be a pat on the back or supportive words or it may be having some knowledge about something someone needed more information about.
3. Motivation – I feel so motivated during challenges because it’s so exciting to see the changes that are happening to my body. I have been given so many resources to help me along this path so it’s difficult to become demotivated.
4. Consistency – having everything laid out for you (both food wise and exercise wise) and at your fingertips, it’s really much more difficult to be inconsistent than consistent with this program and these challenges.
5. Accountability – by writing down goals, writing out food and workout journals and talking either my Accountability Buddy or other Club Fymer’s, I feel that I have made a commitment where I can’t let myself or them down.
6. Excitement – how exciting it is to do this with other people from all over the world. We may live in different place and be different people, but we all share a very common aspect of our lives (getting healthy – whichever way we need to go to get there). I don’t feel alone here and Holly is always providing with so many new and exciting things to do to keep us going in the right direction.
Why is a challenge so important to getting results?
A challenge is so important to getting results because of the things I have mentioned above: support, motivation, consistency, accountability, excitement, personal fulfillment and success and learning to “stick with it”.
This isn’t just a 12 week challenge, it’s a lifetime challenge and change. I find that if I’m just trying to do this on my own, I “might” stick to it for a while but during a challenge I stick to it a lot longer. 12 weeks is a good amount of time to form a foundation of good nutrition and exercise habits. And if I have to be away from the exercising for a short period of time, I know I can come back to it and I want to. I don’t give up anymore.
I’m not really sure there is a lot more to say other than that I know I have been truly blessed having found Holly Rigsby’s program and having seen other programs and experienced some of them, I know there is no other one out there like this one.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to my continued participation in this program!!!”
Thanks again ladies – these were some powerful essays!

“I am ready to jump on board! It is time to stop wishing and make it happen.
