After Baby Belly Celebration After Deirdre Celebrates Skinny Jeans Success & Two Years as a Fit Yummy Mummy
“About three years ago I decided I needed to do something to get in shape.
I thought running would be the answer and started a training program. A year later I was running A LOT but not loosing weight or gaining muscle.
In fact I was gaining weight!
As a wife and mother of three boys, I was very frustrated with the lack of results versus the amount of time I was investing. So, I searched the internet. I found a program called Fit Yummy Mummy that promised After Baby Belly results in 15 minutes a day.
Really?
This Holly lady was either a genius, a magician or fraud. I decided to take a chance on this program. I had spent a lot more on programs that took a lot more time. If this worked it would be well worth the investment.
At first I was very skeptical and hesitant to join the group Holly created. I gradually began participating in the group and started the workouts and following the FYM lifestyle.
In turn I found a wonderful group of supportive women. These women were willing to share successes and failures and how they achieved their success. This group of women was eager to give encouragement, help and inspire. We shared recipes and tips. And on top of all that, I started feeling like I had more energy and feeling better.
Since November of 2007 I have kept with the Fit Yummy Mummy lifestyle and have made so many changes.
Two years ago, I was a size 12, pushing towards a 14.
Now I am on my way out of an 8 and fitting into a size 6!
I have lost 16 lbs and 12 inches
I found the confidence, strength and energy to take on the challenge of a race and have since participated in two triathlons and race a half marathon.
Without training outside of the Fit Yummy Mummy workouts, I completed them with respectable times. I even ran a personal record for a 5k at 9 minute miles with out hours of running. I owe this to the strength I have gained through FYM.
